NYX Cosmetics | WTF!?!

So many of my followers know that I do reviews for Influenster! I’ve been doing reviews for them ever since their site started, but prior to that I had been doing product reviews on my own with products that I purchase with my hard earned money. From different cosmetics down to items I use to clean my house, you name it I’ve pretty much reviewed it. Now that I’ve gotten that little tid bit out of the way, let’s forward to today. I got on Influenster to randomly review this primer I had been using from NYX cosmetics for about a week, immediately after posting it there, I decided to also post it on the product page itself on NYX's website. I like to actually use any product for a while before I give a full on review because if I really haven’t used it the review will end up being a biased one. So anyway, the item I decided to purchase from Target was the NYX soft focus primer, which I needed because I ran out of the other primer I NORMALLY use and Target didn’t sell it so I decided to purchase NYX because it was the next closest thing I was looking for in a primer. I never tried this primer prior to purchasing the item so it was brand new to me. I put on the primer before doing my usual make up routine; this was right before I went to class that night, same day of purchasing the product. I arrived to class and about 30 minutes into class, I had to use the bathroom so I decided to take a little break to do so. I do my thing in there, and then go to wash my hands only to look up into the mirror to see my face… Why did it look like someone came and threw some cooking oil on my face? My first reaction was WTF!?! (Which is why in the screenshots I posted with this blog you see WTF, it was my title for the review on the NYX cosmetics site)  I was so shocked, to top it off I didn’t have my makeup bag with me, it was in the classroom inside my book bag. I had to walk back into a classroom with an OILY face, I have a mix of oily/combination skin so using this primer with NO LABEL FOR SOMEONE WITH OILY SKIN was a horrible mistake! I could have just returned the item right, not left a horrible review right?

Yeah I know that’s what this company is thinking, or whoever denied my review at least. No, I posted this item on my page like everything was cool, promoting it, saying how much I hope it works and how I was excited to try it out. I actually tried to give it the benefit of the doubt and keep on trying out the item up until yesterday and the same oily mess showed up so I was done and decided to review it. Anyway! How does that look when someone buys a product that really turns out to be shitty? The sad reality is that there was only 1 bad review on the site, so imagine how many other people used the same product and left a bad review and they denied each and every one of them because they were telling the truth? How about this, NYX cosmetics, I know I’m one out of 234082394 customers and you won’t be losing any coins because you have many people who stand by your brand but I won’t be spending another dime with your cosmetics brand. NOT ONE! I’m mad I even got the the point of having to blog this, it shouldn’t have even had to go this far. Again, I will not be buying or reviewing any of this brand’s products, on top of not recommending any of my friends to buy their items either.

These images are screenshots from my iPhone! This is exactly what I posted on their website under the product's link. It's the honest truth! What could possibly not be met as far as them accepting what was written? I don't understand!

But wait there's more....
Here's the product... No labels on it specifying what kind of skin is good for it... Nice and compact, good enough to throw in your makeup bag to use on the go! The only plus about this product...

This is the product itself...

Mind you I only used it for a week and guess what? Yes that is the bottom of the compact ALREADY! After one week, literally not enough product for the price but again I gave this company the benefit of the doubt. Not only that.... My SKIN has broken out, I've never had bad acne or bumps anywhere until I used this crap. I've used every facial cleansing product I have and luckily the bumps are clearing up! But yes, this is what I wanted to vent or blog about but I will not be giving NYX cosmetics anymore of my money, this is the result of what happens when a company won't let you give an honest review!

Thanks for reading... Until next time!
