I'm totally shocked at the fact that I haven't blogged for months but I'm extremely thankful to try out a product free for testing purposes complements of +Influenster (for the sake of the FTC, please don't come for this post!   • What was your first impression? 
          My first impression when unboxing was "awe" like I couldn't believe I received another Marc Jacobs product. The packaging was cute and simplistic! I received 2 out of the 8 colors. When finding out the price for each of the lippies I had to pick my mouth up from the floor but after trying on the product I can totally see why the price was the amount they listed it as. These lippies retail for $28 each at +Sephora I thought it was a lipstick but it's too shiny to be considered a lipstick with full coverage; the product is great! The applicator isn't like the average packaging either, with the wand and the little thing to swatch at the end. It actually looks just like lipstick. I've used it just about every day when I put makeup on and it definitely does the job.

*Con: When using this product, you twist it and it clicks the product up and out; however when you try to retract it the lippie will not go down so use with caution! Also, when applying the lippie wears off after a while but re-apply, lip gloss tends to wipe off so this is a given!


  • Which shade are you #EnamoredWith?
          The shades that I was Enamored With were Uh-uh Honey and Candy Bling. I absolutely love Uh-uh Honey because that shade is like a nude for me, however the golden glitter and the shiny gloss was the best part of the product in my opinion. Candy Bling is nice as well but I'm a nude kind of girl so I'll use that one faithfully after I run out of Uh-uh Honey, LOL!
  • What did you think of the shiny finish?
          I think the shiny finish is great! The product's formula is not sticky like your average lip gloss. It's actually just right in my opinion! One coat is good enough.

Overall, I really love the Marc Jacobs Beauty new Hydrating Lip Gloss Sticks and I think it will be a staple in my daily makeup routine. I appreciate the shine in the gloss, it is decent (not long) wearing, looks great in photos, hydrates your lips (doesn't make them look dry at all) and the travel friendly packaging really seals the deal, throw it in your bag and go.
