Sweat Tour with @EstelleArcher



Ever had a time in your life where you wanted to lose weight? You try diets, crazy fads or even kill yourself by starving to lose a few pounds? Every one has their own story about how they lost the pounds that everyone else is trying to lose; So does the new fitness sensation Dawn Estelle Archer! She's one of the women I've seen transform herself into a whole new body! Today, I'm here to tell a bit about her story, and introduce you to a wonderful young lady who I shared the opportunity to workout with for a day amongst several other women here in Orlando.

So who exactly is Dawn Estelle Archer?
In 2013, Dawn was working as a graphic designer in ATL. She was in an EXTREMELY POLITICAL OFFICE ENVIORNMENT when she realized that her time wasn't valued. So during a job review she was told that the only reason she wasn't being let go was because there was too much work to be done. Because of her value to the company she quit & after battling depression she decided that she was ready to save herself and FOUND FITNESS! Dawn moved back home to Richmond, VA to teach a fitness class in a local parking lot. She started off with family and friends but the class quickly grew to over 30 people from all over her hometown. She was teaching 7 classes a week and was getting so much social media attention that she started attracting many other people from around the world who wanted to participate in her class. 
How did I find out about Dawn?
I decided to take a look on the popular page on Instagram. I saw a few images of women who were transforming their bodies by doing a weight loss plan when I came across Dawn's image (check her out at +estelle archer on Google+ or @estellearcher on Instagram). I instantly clicked on her username and scrolled through her pictures! I told myself that she looked amazing and that I'll continue to check out her progress here and there, then followed her. I don't really check pages out, I typically scroll down my timeline and whatever I see I tend to doubletap and like the images. One day I saw Dawn post and it was about an upcoming tour she had planned.

What made you go to her tour?
I usually don't luck up when it comes to wanting to meet inspirational people from out of the state and I was thinking to myself "Well she's not gonna come to Orlando!" After convincing myself that maybe she would come I went to Dawn's website www.dawn-archer.com to view the sites that this #SweatTour would be stopping and sure enough a date was posted for Orlando! Not only one date, but two dates were set up to go work out with her... I decided to put some cash to the side and go both days but "how my wallet was setup" I had to use my last $10 to see what this young lady had to offer. What made me go intentially was to get the answers to some of my daunting questions about weight loss. I have my moments where I look good (and everyone I cross tells me that I look amazing) and then I have my days were its like I wanna workout or stay active so that I don't gain more weight. So I wanted to know some advice on how to balance weight loss, how to start and figure out if its something that I want to do regularly...

What exactly is the sweat tour?
The sweat tour in which Dawn put together is an hour of vigorous core & Zumba fitness all in one! When I tell you that she really had a group of women literally sweating! In January of 2014 Dawn started a fitness tour, she put all of her belongings in a storage unit, sold her car and took from her savings to begin traveling across country and showing people of all ages how to SWEAT! Her goal was to reach a total of 50 states in one year!

How was your experience?
My experience meeting Dawn was fun and free spirited. She was very down to earth and answered every question I needed her to answer! Now the class experience was very good, let's just say I got my money's worth! 20-30 mins of chatting with her, an hour of fitness/zumba/core so physical, and a few minutes to buy her merchandize... It was definitely worth it. I felt so refreshed afterwards! I left with knowing that if I started my fitness routine back up again that I'm not alone, so many other women want to lose weight and stay active as well... I also loved the way that she states "Make your own rules!" When working out we try to eat & exercise based on what everyone else says we should, you definitely DON'T have to go that route! Workout to your own standards but know exactly what's healthy and what's not! Dawn definitely motivated me to get back on my fitness grind, so starting December 1st I'll be back clean eating and working out to see how far I can push myself to stay fit. It's not necessarily about weight loss, I just want to live a healthier lifestyle! I hope that I opened your eyes to something new & to a young lady who transformed her life!
