Today one of my followers commented on one of my Instagram pics! Expressing that when I post a pic to tell others to follow, that when they do go follow these people don't follow them in return. After I read he comment I responded sincerely to her post as best as I could but I wanted to share my thoughts with some of you about how I feel when it comes to blogging and following others, etc.

First things first, in order for me to follow you back after you follow me I would first have to have some kind of interest to the things that you are posting! As a blogger, I do have tons of personality and I do like some things that certain people post, (i.e. fashion, accessories, cute sayings, inspirational messages, etc.) but a majority of people on Instagram post some of the most irrelevant things and it gets on my nerves. For instance, there's the people who post millions of pictures of their kids on Instagram. Don't get me wrong at all, it's your page so by all means post what you want but think about it, it's your Instagram not your child(ren)'s page... I mean a post here or there but all the time? I can't deal... Or the person with 2 pics and doesn't post anything... Or the person who posts just quotes and nothing of themselves, one or two selfies and 12430723497 pics of different meme's (like the one pictured above, lol) or of quote's about Tyquan leaving you and how you won't be defeated you've been crying but you're going to move on today! I mean it's insane, but these are reasons I don't follow certain people... I'll follow you if your posts interest me, that's it!

Now to answer the question about why other top name bloggers (who I won't call out by any means because they inspire me to do what I do!) don't respond (like or comment on pics) or follow back their followers who show them love on ever post, who comment, who like every pic, or is the most pro-active follower ever! I honestly can't answer for specific bloggers but I feel like these are some of the reasons they don't follow back:

1. I know some of the bloggers I follow are extremely busy... I mean they have lives, they don't really have time to comment or follow back let alone do posts period. Some of these bloggers have thousands of followers and I don't think they are willing or ready to respond to each and every post they receive. 

2. Well shoot these bloggers could have the same reasoning behind why I don't follow everyone... Because people post alot of irrelevant ish! I'm just saying... Don't get it? Read the second paragraph of this post again! LOL.

3. Or they could just be really nasty or selfish. Some people like having tons of followers, they don't plan on returning the love because you are giving them all the shine. Or they collect followers just to get their numbers up and that's that. They just don't wanna follow you!

The moral of the story is that it's the luck of the draw! Sometimes you shouldn't expect so much from Instagram or any social platform for that matter. Everyone you follow ain't always gonna be down for you or want to follow you. I on the other hand try to always be there for the people who follow me and faithfully show me love and respect on every social network that I have. If I don't follow you it's because of what I just posted in this blog, can anything change that? Probably not, lol! I'm just being real! Thanks for reading...
